A new website has launched for the Life and Mind Building (LaMB). LaMB – which will house EP and a new Biology Department – is the largest building project ever undertaken by the University.

The new LaMB website is a one-stop shop that will provide updates on the building's construction, as well as information about its history, strategic goals, design and future events.

The LaMB will occupy the same site as the old Tinbergen Building (demolished after asbestos was found). It will house both EP and the newly formed Department of Biology (a unification of the Departments of Plant Sciences and Zoology), and will provide laboratories for undergraduates, postgraduates and researchers, as well as lecture theatres, specialised support laboratories and opportunities for public engagement with our research. It will also facilitate the University’s schools and public outreach through shared opportunities for art, exhibitions, lectures and conferences, offering a window into science.
